Report on

AIMA RPG - NSMG 2008

1. Six teams of four students each participated at AIMA RPG – NSMG 2008. Four teams represented IBS Mumbai at the western regional round held on August 21st to 23rd, 2008 at Pune and two teams represented IBS Mumbai at the eastern regional round held on August 11th to 13th, 2008 at Kolkata.

2. The regional rounds were held at Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Indore, Coimbatore and Bangalore.

3. The regional competition was among twenty three teams for the eastern round and thirty two teams for the western round. Some of the leading B-Schools were NM, Symbiosis and XISS (Kolkata).

4. Out of six IBS Mumbai teams, one team from eastern region and one from western region qualified for the National Final round held on October 4th to 6th, 2008 at Coimbatore.

5. A total of twenty one teams qualified from all the above mentioned centers to participate at the National prelims and National final rounds at Coimbatore.

6. Out of twenty one teams, nine teams reached the National final round on October 5th, 2008 of which IBS Mumbai were the clear winners on 1st and 2nd position.

7. The 1st team received a cash prize of Rs.40000/- along with the National Team Trophy, Individual trophies and Certificate of position.  

8. The 2nd team received a cash prize of Rs.30000/-, Team Trophy, Individual trophies and Certificate of position.
