Business Scope                         

ETG is planning to strengthen its Sales and Distribution OF AGRO-CHEMICALS and SEEDS, BUSINESSES in East and WestAfrican countries supporting the Trading Business of… Agro chemicals – Fungicides, Insecticides, Herbicides, Chemicals, Animal Health Products.. Seeds – Vegetable seeds like Tomato, Cucumber, Carrot, Cabbage, Rice, Mize, etc..

Purpose of Job                          

The key purpose of this role is to achieve volumes and revenues by directly sellingand supporting the business development of 80-100 brands by training staff on selling, usage, safety, handling, storage, transport, distribution, retail..

Key Responsibilities                                        
Marketing :
  • To analyse the market for sale of agrochemicals / seeds and plan sales strategy
  • To create a supply chain to distribute agrochemicals / seeds by wholesale / retail channels
  • To sell agrochemicals / seeds at locations through depots on cash
  • To extend credit within prescribed limits to export customers
  • To conduct farmers meetings, demonstrations, extension programs, training programs, to spread education on agrochemicals / seeds usage
  • To conduct marketing and promotional campaigns to sell agrochemicals / seeds sales
  • To analyse consumers buying / consumption patterns
  • To analyse competitors and plan strategies
  • To plan advertising campaigns to attract customers
  • To oversee distribution, transport, logistic, warehousing, safety
  • To follow-up for payments and collect out-standings
  • To report to Country Manager
  • To report to the Agrochemicals Business Head
Import of Agrochemicals / Seeds:
  • To co-ordinate for entire documentation for movement of agrochemicals / seeds
  • To co-ordinate with Shipping for arrival of agrochemicals / seeds and arrange clearance
  • To take custody of agrochemicals / seeds and co-ordinate for transport
Export of Fertilizers / Commodity :
  • To get the Customer’s specifications / requirements of agrochemicals / seeds
  • To arrange for proper documentation for shipping the agrochemicals / seeds for export
  • To follow up for agrochemicals / seeds received by Customer
  • To follow up for agrochemicals / seeds payments from exporters

Education & Qualifications

Essential:Agri / Chemical
Desirable :MBA, Farming / Agri background / BSc Agri / MSc Agri

Relevant Experience

Essential:Basic Computer skills

Key Attributes

Desirable :Good in sales of agrochemical / seeds knowledge

Languages

Essential:Fluent in English communication
Desirable :Strong experience in agrochemical / seeds industry
