The PG Program conducted by IBS is a broad-based program designed to provide in-depth understanding to students in technical, human and conceptual skills. The Program prepares men and women with the skills, knowledge and attitudes essential to the leadership of business anywhere in the world.

As IBS does not itself award any degree/diplomas it has not sought any approval from AICTE. The quality of the Program is widely recognized, as evidenced by the results of independent surveys conducted by various agencies year after year. The market and industry recognition of the IBS program is growing significantly as demonstrated by the placements achieved by its students in leading companies every year since 1995.

 

Wide Range of Elective Streams

The MBA Program of the ICFAI University, Dehradun offers students a wide range of elective streams to choose from. There are elective streams in Marketing, Finance, HRM, Operations Management, Information Technology & Systems, International Business, Accounting & Control, Baking, Insurance, Investments and Entrepreneurship.

Students have flexibility in selecting from different elective streams. They can:

  • Specialize in a single stream of electives like marketing; or

  • Opt for dual specializations in two streams, like marketing and finance; or

  • Opt for multiple specializations in more than two elective streams; and

  • Additionally, choose two optional free electives from any stream.

Academic support will be offered for all electives at all the IBS campuses subject to a minimum number of students opting for a particular elective.

 

Commencement of Classes

The preparatory classes for the program start from May 01, 2007 at all IBS Campuses. All students are required to attend these preparatory classes at the respective IBS Campuses. These classes cover the basics of all the subjects and help students in gaining a fundamental knowledge of all relevant courses to be taught subsequently.

Award

IBS does not itself award any degrees/diplomas; it merely extends academic support to the students to prepare them for the MBA Program of the ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Students receive MBA Degree from the ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on successful completion of the academic requirements of the University.
