5th RMC programme

IBS
Hyderabad in partnership with The Resource
Alliance, UK conducted its 5th Certification
Course in Resource Mobilisation and Communication
(RMC) in Hyderabad from February 8th-19th 2010.
The 10- day programme attracted participants from
across the country and overseas as well. Some of
the organizations that attended include—Vani
(Kolkatta), ICRISAT(Hyderabad), Save the
Children, UK (Kabul), Ankuram
(Hyderabad), SKS India (Hyderabad) and
others.
The
aim of the RMC programme is to serve professionals
associated with non-profit organisations and other
persons wanting to build careers in resource
mobilization and fundraising. |

Experts from NGOs, media and IBS faculty who have been trained by The Resource Alliance, UK, were the resource persons for the program which is totally hands on, highly interactive and
driven. |

Pedagogy
The programme was transacted through class-room teaching, presentations, exercises, group work, and case studies by leading trainers in resource mobilisation and communication and experts in relevant fields.
Ms. Nalini Gangadharan, CEO, CAP Foundation delivered the
key note address on ‘Role of civil society organizations and their relationship with state and business’ on the opening day, while the valedictory address was given by Ms. Karuna Gopal, President, Foundation for Futuristic Cities. |
