The trainees while working for SAP can establish industry and
social contacts which will be useful to them once they start working. Many of
the trainees opting for SAP have been benefited with good Summer Internship
Projects, Management Research Projects and have also been able to get good
placements in highly reputed corporates. Around 5,000 trainees have benefited
through SAP so far.

SAP as a good source of income
|
Apart from offering excellent skill development
opportunities, SAP also provides the students a source of funds to finance their
education at IBS®. It offers earning opportunities through stipends and
performance-based incentives. A number of students from the previous batches
were able to pay their monthly living expenses as well as their tuition fee from
the income they earned while working with SAP.

All
IBS®
students
will be given an opportunity to work part-time on various assignments.
-
SAP is open to
both first and second year students.
-
Students who are
interested in joining SAP will be given the required training before they get
on to the job.
-
Students will
promote various programs and publications of Icfai University Press and undertake activities
initiated by SAP, from time to time.

Students will be
paid an attractive stipend and also performance-based incentives every month.

A monthly
performance standard is specified to evaluate each student. Only those
students who maintain the minimum standard consistently will be eligible to
continue further in SAP.

Students who
start working with SAP will have flexible hours of work, so that their study
sessions are not disturbed.

Students will be
placed under SAP Territory Managers/Officers who will guide them in their
various field activities, mentor them and evaluate their performance.
-
Students have the
flexibility to withdraw from SAP at any time.
-
Students will
undergo various training activities throughout the two years of their active
involvement with SAP by participating in workshops and activities such as
seminars, counseling, corporate presentations, training programs in soft
skills, etc.
-
Students
participating in the program are required to conduct themselves with dignity
and discipline, and are expected to perform their work with diligence, honesty
and integrity.
However,
-
SAP is not an
offer of employment.
-
SAP is available
only to the students of the IBS®.
-
Students who are
selected to work under SAP will be considered as trainees with the Promotion
& Development Department.
Students who are sincere, dedicated and are achievers in the
first year of their association with SAP will be groomed as team leaders. These
team leaders are expected not only to shoulder team responsibilities but also
develop new students to become achievers. The best team leaders are identified
and rewarded.

Declaration
of SAP Achievers
SAP
performers with specific achievements will periodically be
declared as SAP achievers. There are several categories of
achievers:

The
achievers of the above categories will be entitled to an
additional bonus along with incentives for the prescribed
period.
Every
year the SAP achievers in various categories will receive
rewards and recognition at the All India SAP Achievers
Conference, conducted at different locations across the
country. The team and individual performance awards are
also presented at this conference.
A trainee who achieves a minimum of 50 E-Units per quarter
will be inducted to the SAP Ruby Club. He/she will be suitably rewarded with a
citation, a medallion, a steel gray blazer and a blue tie.

SAP Sapphire Club Membership
|
A trainee who has qualified twice for SAP Ruby Club
membership, will be nominated to the SAP Sapphire Club as a member. He/she will
be suitably rewarded with a citation, a medallion and a dark blue blazer and a
blue tie.

SAP Diamond Club Membership
|
A trainee who has qualified three times for SAP Ruby Club, will be nominated
to the SAP Diamond Club. He/she will be suitably rewarded with a citation, a
medallion, a black blazer and a blue tie.
