ICFAI Business School IBS is the Biggest Winner in Case Method ‘Oscars’ 2019

ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad won a whopping three awards in the 29th year of UK based The Case Centre’s Award and Competition. These annual awards are widely hailed as the case method community’s Oscars andcelebrate worldwide excellence in case teaching and writing.

For The Third Time, ICFAI Business School Wins Dark Side CASE Award In An Event Organised By AOM

ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad has won the prestigious “Dark Side CASE Award” for the third time. The event was organized by the Critical Management Studies division of Academy of Management (AOM). 78th conference of the AOM was held in in Chicago from 10th August to 14th August 2018, where ICFAI grabbed the award for the CASE “Ashley Madison Hacking and the Ethics of Hacktivism” written by Dr. Debapratim Purkayastha, Ms. Syeda Maseeha Qumer and Mr. Koti Vinod Babu. Another CASE which make into the final was “United Airlines Inc.: The Manhandling Incident” written by Dr. Vijaya Narapareddy (University of Denver), Ms. Qumer and Dr. Purkayastha was also a Finalist in the competition.

ICFAI Business School wins Prestigious Case and Simulation Competition Award in the US

15th May 2018, Hyderabad: ICFAI Business School (IBS) won the prestigious 11th Annual E-PARCC Teaching Case and Simulation Competition award - 2018, held by the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, New York for the case titled “David Green- Delivering Quality Eyecare in the Developing Countries through Collaborative Systems”. The case was co-authored by K.B.S. Kumar and Indu Perepu, of IBS- Case Research Center (CRC).

Other winners were from Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Washington; School of Public Affairs and Administration, University of Kansas; Department of Interdisciplinary Studies. Creighton University, and State University of New York College at Cortland, all in the USA.

About the Case: The case won the ‘Glendal E. and Alice D. Wright Prize Fund for Conflict and Collaboration Case Studies in International Development’.
