Mergers and Acquisitions: Cross border investment driven by China

The financial canvas has undergone epochal changes. The socio political changes across the world are prompting the policymakers to unwind globalization, trade in goods & services and routing of finance to the real economy. However, the Asian economies in general and China in particular are driving the cross border investment flows. The companies in the new economy are facing disruptions and lower life span. They are grappling with consolidation, breakout and unwinding. As these companies are evolving, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are the favored route to bring about structural changes and accommodate newer industrial dynamics.
